Dog Services

Our Animal Welfare Officers collect found dogs on behalf of many Local Authorities in the South of England, seven days a week twenty four hours a day. Dogs collected during the day are taken directly to your Councils nominated kennel provider in specially adapted vehicles. To reduce the stress, dogs collected out of hours are held overnight at our modern, secure, hygienic and air conditioned holding unit and then transported to the nominated kennels the next day. Any dog that appears unwell, or has any injuries is taken directly to a veterinary surgeon for treatment.

If your dog is still wearing a collar with a legible tag or, on scanning, we find a microchip implant, depending on the time of day we will always try to contact you on any phone numbers you have provided to let you know your pet has been found and is safe. If permitted by your Council and you live locally to where your dog has been found, we may be able to return your dog directly to you, our Officers will never ask you for money on the doorstep or ask for a reward payment. If you wish to show your appreciation please make a donation to a recognised animal charity that cares for and helps re-home unclaimed dogs. We usually upload details of all dogs we collect within one day of the collection seven days a week.
